I am currently serving as a proud member of the US Army Training and Doctrine Command (TRADOC) Fellows Program, where I am training to become a CP-32 Training Developer. This program is similar to the Army Materiel Command (AMC) Fellows Program, which is more well known and further detailed at www.amccareers.com.In August 2008, I obtained a Masters of Science degree in Instructional Technology from Texas A&M University in Texarkana, TX. This marked my completion of the first year of the Fellows program, which also included coursework from the AMC Logistics Leadership Center (ALLC) at Red River Army Depot. Prior to joining the Fellows program, I attended the University of Texas at Tyler in Tyler, TX from 2004 – 2007, where I obtained a Bachelors of Science degree in Computer Science with a Minor in Business Administration. While at UT Tyler, I spent many hours in the computer science lab not only completing assignments but also assisting others as a lab technician. Preceding my studies at UT Tyler, I attended Texarkana College in Texarkana, TX from 2003 – 2004, where I also worked in the computer department and assisted the faculty and staff with the maintenance of the campus’ computers. I was born in Texarkana, TX on November 1, 1984, and I grew up in New Boston, TX and graduated from New Boston High School in 2003. While in high school, I was an active member of the band as well as a member of the local Boy Scouts where I obtained my Eagle Scout award.
I enjoy spending time with my family and friends, and my hobbies include building computers, programming, computer games, working on my car, and reading about new advancements in technology.
While obtaining my computer science degree, I developed a strong interest and respect for the many new technologies we see and work with today. As a result, I would like to pursue a career that (1) places me in a position to work with computers and new technologies and (2) provides me with the opportunity to actively take part in developing cutting edge technologies that will positively impact the way we live.Gladys Brenner is the President and lead designer of AB Design. Upon graduation, I started attending Penn State Behrend While at PSB, I have been involved in many activities. I am currently a member of scrubs club and the biological honor society Beta Beta Beta. I also perform undergraduate research with Dr. Potter. My research analyzes the role of N-glycans in apical sorting within polarized epithelial cells. This research has taught me a lot about cell biology and has prepared for my future. Upon graduation from Penn State Behrend, I plan on attending medical school. I am currently working on compiling my application for medical school and selecting schools. Along with working on my application, I have been studying for my medical school entrance exam. I hope that my hard work for the last 15 years will pay off and I will be accepted into a good medical school.
